Lubbock Police continue searching for leads in the murder of a convenience store clerk. Patricia Ann Garcia was shot and killed August 3rd, while working an overnight shift at the 7-11 convenience store at 19th and Iola.
Officers are searching for two suspects. Thursday, the Master Cleaners at 6006 82nd Street hosted a fundraiser for Garcia's family. The Lubbock Mounted Patrol, the Cotton King mascot, and Raider Red were on hand. Several local businesses, including Chik-Fil-A took part.
"We know it won't help bring back Patricia but hopefully it will be a small way to help the family." said Blake Meek, General Manager of Master Cleaners.
No word yet on how much money was raised for the Garcia family.
