A government task force is launching a new campaign to get kids to the dentist by age one.
That's right, because research is showing as few as 25% of kids have even been to the dentist by age 6 and poor dental health can start much earlier than that leading to other health problems as kids grow older.
So, the US preventive task force says it's drawing up new recommendations that may include providing fluoride supplements to children whose water supply is deficient starting at age 6 months.
