Ladies, how clean is your purse?
A new study might open your eyes. Researchers have determined that a woman's handbag may contain more germs than the average toilet flush. The study was conducted by a company called initial washroom hygiene. Researchers there say swab tests on a variety of handbags revealed 20% had toilet levels of bacteria. The handles were the germiest and ironically, the more expensive leather bags were the most likely to have high levels of bacteria.
The good news is experts say it's highly unlikely you could get sick from a handbag, but the suggestion is obvious, it's just a good idea to use anti-bacterial wipes to regularly clean the bottom and handles on your purse.
