ZooFest 2004 Hits the South Plains Mall - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Dozens of exotic animals were at the South Plains Mall Saturday.

The 3rd annual ZooFest took place at the parking lot next to Sears. From tigers, to monkeys, to zebras and even some farm animals, Saturday's event was just a taste of what's to come.

"Things are progressing with the Lubbock Zoo. We start archeological work next Wednesday. Things are going really well and just keep supporting us and looking for us in the future." said Kai Hill.
