West Texas Music Film Debuts In Lubbock

Lubbock music fans, get ready! Lubbock Lights, a documentary about West Texas music makes its Lubbock debut this weekend.

The film explores music on the South Plains and showcases the music of West Texas musicians like Natalie Maines, Jesse Taylor, Buddy Holly and more.

There will be two screenings of the 80 minute film. The first is Friday at 10:45 p.m. following the Flatlanders show at the Cactus Theater. Then again on Saturday, September 4th at 2 p.m. Both shows are at the Cactus Theater, for $10 apiece.
