4th Plainview HS alum signs with WBU

From Wayland Baptist University:

Gus Licerio became the fourth member of the 2013 Plainview High School baseball team to sign with Wayland Baptist University. Licerio, the son of Jerry and Rosie Licerio of Plainview, signed with the Pioneers on Tuesday.

At PHS, Licerio lettered in football and basketball one year and in baseball three years. Last season, he was named to the All-District 4-4A second team. The outfielder hit .320 with 18 RBIs, four doubles and a triple. Licerio also was 7-for-10 on stolen bases.

Previously, PHS Bulldogs Skylar Wood, Jordan Vera and Josh Vera signed with WBU.
