Lubbock deputies arrested a man in his 20's named Michael Rodriguez on a domestic violence warrant he had outstanding with Lubbock county. However, solid sources tell NewsChannel 11 that police want to talk to Rodriguez about the shooting death of Russell Baldree.
Deputies arrested Rodriguez as he exited the Wal-Mart after three Friday afternoon. He was brought to the county jail were he sits as of Friday night. Police have not released any more information.
Baldree was shot in the chest last month while riding his motorcycle near 50th and Indiana. Earlier this week, homicide detectives told NewsChannel 11 they had a possible suspect or witness for the murder of Baldree.
