Three Sent to Hospital After Wreck on Highway 84

Three people were taken to the hospital Sunday night following an accident in north Lubbock County. That accident happened at the intersection of U.S. 84 and County Road 2641 around 7:00 Sunday.

DPS says 40 year-old Philip Michael was crossing Highway 84 on 2641 when the driver failed to yield the right of way to the station wagon. The station wagon then slammed into the passenger side of the car.

The two people in station wagon, 69 year-old Douglas Eaden and 71 year-old Annabell McFate and the driver of the car were taken to University Medical Center.
