DPS troopers say one driver failed to yield the right of way causing an accident that sent two people to the hospital on Sunday night. The accident happened just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 84 and County Road 2641.
DPS troopers say Philip Kirk was hit by a station wagon when he failed to yield the right of way at the intersection. The two people in station wagon, 71-year-old Annabell McFate and 69-year-old Douglas Eddins were both taken to University Medical Center.
As of Monday evening McFate is in satisfactory condition and Eddins is listed in serious.
