A new survey just released shows most Americans are happy with the labor they do. The Associated Press talked to nearly 600 workers for the survey. The poll found 9 out of 10 people say they are at least somewhat satisfied with their jobs. Many workers, though, said they did worry about increasing job stress, health care and retirement benefits.
Those most likely to be happy were white, married, college-educated, homeowners and Republicans. Seven in 10 people said they were paid fairly. Six in 10 said work is an important part of who they are.
