On Saturday, June 22, Lubbock's Texas Roadhouse invites the public to the most official rib-eating contest in town – no bones about it!
First, area police officers will face off with fire fighters in the rib-eating arena for charity.
Then the restaurant will donate 10% of all lunch sales from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. to the police and fire departments' chosen charities -- Coats for Kids and Children's Advocacy Center of the South Plains.
The event also features family fun including a bounce house, face painting and tours of a Lubbock Fire Department truck.
The rib challenge beings at 10 a.m. and you can dine to donate starting at 11 a.m.
It all takes place at Texas Roadhouse at 4810 South Loop 289.
