On Monday, June 24 at 10:19 p.m., a victim and his small child were in the alley behind 5412 17th taking garbage to the dumpster.
80-year-old Robert Miller heard them in the alley and came out of his back gate with a rifle and held them at gunpoint.
The victim called police. When police arrived, Miller still had the victim at gunpoint but was quickly taken into custody without incident.
