Lady Chaps Softball hosting July camps

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock Christian University Lady Chaps will host summer softball camps for players ages 10 and older beginning in July.

Coach Daren Hays is offering an Advanced Skills Camp for ages 14 and up and all skill-level camps for ages 10-14.

The Advanced Skills group can participate in up to two camps:

Defensive skills and pitching- July 16, 4-7 p.m., $70

Hitting and offensive skills-July 17, 9- a.m. to 1 p.m., $80

Cost is $130 for individuals attending both camps.

The All-Skills group is on July 23-24 from 9 a.m. to noon and costs $75.

All camps are capped at 50 players per camp.

Players must bring all of their own equipment. Shorts and t-shirts are appropriate practice attire.
