City of Lubbock offices closed for 4th of July holiday

From City of Lubbock:

City of Lubbock offices will be closed July 4th in observance of the Fourth of July holiday.

In observance of the 4th of July, Independence Day holiday, there will be no trash collection on Thursday, July 4. Thursday's normally scheduled trash dumpster collection will be moved to Wednesday, July 3. Residents with trash cart collection normally scheduled for Thursday, will receive trash cart collection on Friday, July 5. Residents with carts are asked to have their carts out before 7 a.m. on Friday, July 5. Scheduled trash collection for Monday and Tuesday (July 1 and July 2) should not be affected.

The City of Lubbock drop-off Recycling and Citizen Collection Stations at 1631 84th Street and 208 Municipal Drive will also be closed on Thursday, July 4.

The West Texas Region Disposal Facility and the Caliche Canyon Landfill will be closed on Thursday, July 4, in observance of the 4th of July, Independence Day holiday.

Emergency services will continue without interruption.
