A morning joyride quickly "rolled" into legal trouble for three teenagers.
It all started around 7:30 Wednesday morning when a Lubbock County resident alerted authorities that a Nissan Xterra was doing "donuts" on her property. The driver of the SUV drove off and rolled the vehicle on County Road 6300 near Roosevelt.
Three male teenagers inside the SUV then took off on foot and were found in a field off Farm to Market Road 1729. EMS took the teenagers, ages 16, 17 and 18 to University Medical Center with minor injuries.
Charges against the teens are pending as the vehicle was reported stolen.
