Congress is back in session and Lubbock's representatives are in Washington.
On Wednesday, Congressman Charlie Stenholm was named to the Armed Services Committee. Its mission is to protect the American people and its military. "I want to be a constructive voice in looking at how we can make America stronger than we are today, how to make sure we win the war on terrorism and protect our homeland," said District 17 Congressman, Charlie Stenholm.
Meanwhile, Congressman Randy Neugebauer is also working in Washington. Wednesday he voted to ensure adequate funding for programs in the labor and health and human services department.
