LPD searching for Taco Villa robbery suspect

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police are searching for a suspect in connection with a robbery at Taco Villa located at 4516 50th Street on Thursday.

Police say at approximately 11:30 p.m. on July 4, the suspect stopped an employee who was leaving the business and pulled a handgun.

They say the suspect forced the employee to unlock the door and then stole money from the office.

The victim was unharmed. The suspect is a black male who is approximately 6 feet tall.
