Lubbock police searching for CVS robbery suspect

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Police are investigating an early morning robbery at a central Lubbock pharmacy.

Around 5:15 a.m. on Thursday, police say a man entered the 24-hour CVS Pharmacy at 34th and Slide and robbed the store at gunpoint. The suspect then fled the scene before police arrived. He was driving a tan, 4-door, older model Oldsmobile.

Police reported there were no injuries but are still searching for the suspect.

He is described as a White or Hispanic male in his 30s, approximately 5'6" to 5'8 and weighing around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, a red long-sleeved shirt and black wind pants. Police say he drove away in a tan 4-door Oldsmobile.
