LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock man is in jail Thursday night after police say he hid drugs in the air vents of his car.

24-year old Joshua Hurt is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Police say they pulled Hurt and a female passenger over for a traffic stop in the 5700 block of 19th last month and asked to search the vehicle.

Police say officers found more than 13 grams of meth hidden in the AC vents and a loaded revolver lodged in the door panel.

Hurt is being held in the Lubbock County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond.
