Lubbock woman suffers minor injuries in Sunday evening rollover

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock woman escaped from a rollover accident Sunday evening with only minor injuries.

It happened just before 5:30 p.m. at 92nd and Slide Road.

Police on the scene say the 22-year-old woman was headed south on Slide when she tried to turn east onto 92nd Street.

Police say she was speeding and lost control during the turn. That's when she rolled into the ditch.

The car landed on its roof, but the woman was not seriously injured.
