Early morning fire damages west Lubbock home

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Officials are investigating the cause of an early morning house fire in west Lubbock Tuesday.

Police say the fire broke out around 1 a.m. in the garage of a townhouse in the 5007 block of 27th street.

The flames spread into the attic, damaging the roof. It took crews more than two hours to put out the blaze.

There were no reports of injuries. Investigators believe the fire may have been caused by an electronic device.
