Texas Tech football kickoff luncheon tickets on sale

The Texas Tech Football season will get an official kickoff with the annual Red Raider Club Lubbock Kickoff Luncheon on Thursday, Aug. 22, inside the exhibit hall at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center.

A record crowd is anticipated for this year's event as Red Raiders fans eagerly anticipate the Kliff Kingsbury era at Texas Tech.  Individual tickets for Red Raider Club members are $45 while non-members are $60.  Reserved tables of eight can be purchased for $750 while the Athletics Director table is priced at $5,000, the offensive/defensive coordinator's table at $2,500 each and an assistant coach's table is $1,500.

Tickets can be purchased by calling the Red Raider Club at (806) 742-1196, by email (rrc.events@ttu.edu), or online at redraiderclub.com/events.

Kingsbury will give fans in attendance an in-depth look at this year's team as well as an introduction of players and staff at the luncheon.  Joining the football team will be coaches and student-athletes from the sports of cross country, soccer and volleyball.  Also on hand will be the Goin' Band From Raiderland, Raider Red, Saddle Tramps and the Tech cheer and pom squads.

Doors will open at 11:15 a.m. and the program will get underway at noon.
