LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock has been named the 10th Most Cowboy City in Texas by Movoto Real Estate.

The national blog ranked the top 50 most populous Texas cities based on criteria such as steakhouses, western wear, American truck dealerships and rodeos per capita.

Lubbock ranked 7th in western wear, 8th in gun stores and 6th in number of Country radio stations.

Lubbock is also home to the National Cowboy Symposium & Celebration.

Tyler was the overall winner ranking 1st in country radio stations and American truck dealerships. The city ranked 2nd in western wear stores.

Fort Worth is known as "The City where the West Begins" but ranked 20th. Bandera claims to be the "Cowboy Capital of the World" but because of its low population, didn't even crack the top 50.
