Restaurant Round-Up features Texas-grown foods beginning July 22

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Monday, over 400 restaurants from across the state will participate in the Sixth Annual GO TEXAN Restaurant Round-Up.

Restaurant Round-Up, presented by Farm Credit, promotes Texas-grown food, produce and beverages. The weeklong event benefits local farmers and ranchers and helps to feed families in need. Donations from participating restaurants will provide over 300,000 meals to the hungry through local Texas food banks.

Caprock Cafe on 34th, Las Brisas Steakhouse, Triple J's Chophouse and Brewery and Fuddruckers are just some of the local businesses that will feature locally-grown foods and drinks.

You are encouraged to dine at any of the participating restaurants to enjoy Texas grown goods and support a great cause. The event takes place July 22-28.
