Gaines County deputies make arrests in 2008 murder case

GAINES COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

Deputies from the Gaines County Sheriff's Office have made two arrests in a 2008 murder case.

Authorities say Robert Glen Bryant was murdered at his workplace in the early morning hours of March 25, 2008. The autopsy determined that the manner of his death was homicide by blunt force trauma.

Sheriff Ronny Pimpkin assigned his investigators to the "cold case" on Jan. 1. Now, with help from the TNT "Cold Justice Team," the GCSO has made two arrests on two first degree murder indictments.

GCSO deputies and the Lea County Drug Task Force arrested Jose Luis Villareal, 43, on July 11.

Villareal was taken to the Lea County Detention Center and arrainged on a $250,000 bond. Villareal is currently in the custody of the Gaines County Sheriff's Office.

Patricia Rene Graves, 48, was arrested in Mineral Wells, TX and taken to the Tarrant County Jail. She is awaiting extradition back to Gaines County.
