Floydada museum features artifacts from area's first residents

FLOYDADA, TX (KCBD) - The Floydada museum features artifacts uncovered during the excavation of a Francisco de Coronado camp site.

A glove, coins and weapons are just some of what was left behind after the camp was destroyed by hail.

They also have a gun collection and memorabilia from the area's first residents. There's even a replica of an old ranch house.

The museum also has a covered wagon that was brought here by settlers, as well as records of everyone who has ever lived or died in Floyd County.
