LAMB COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

DPS troopers have released the names of the two men killed Wednesday morning in an accident on Highway 84, about four miles east of Littlefield.

Troopers say 33-year-old Mario Tremayne Johnson was driving a semi west on 84 when he came up behind a pickup hauling a fertilizer trailer.

The semi clipped the back of the trailer, causing Johnson to lose control and overcorrect.

The semi then went into a side-skid and rolled into the bar ditch.

The cab of the semi hit the embankment and caved in, killing Johnson and his passenger, 43-year-old Julio Cesar Villegas.

Both men are from the Dallas area.

The driver of the pickup, 78-year-old Eugene Coleman from Anton, was not injured.
