5-year-old Texas boy found, Amber Alert canceled

The Amber Alert for 5-year-old Apollo Allen has been canceled. Authorities say the boy has been found. No further details have been released.

THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE IS TRANSMITTED AT THE REQUEST OF THE TEXAS DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT:

 Five-year-old Apollo Allen, born on September 25, 2007, was taken from his home by his biological father Tim Allen yesterday afternoon, July 23, and has not returned. The suspect has a history of drug abuse and of taking his child to locations where drugs are being used and or distributed.

Apollo is a white male with blonde hair and one green and one blue eye. He is 43 inches tall and weighs about 40 pounds. Photos are not yet available.

The suspect and child were last seen in the Seabrook area on Tuesday, July 23. However the suspect did speak to the mother at approximately 2:30 pm yesterday from a location on Highway 290 in Houston.

The suspect is driving the mother's SUV which is a black 2009 Dodge Journey with license plate number BX3C020.

Anyone with information regarding the child, the suspect or the vehicle is asked to immediately call the Seabrook Police Department at 281-291-5610.
