They are famous for their Chihuahuas, and no, we're not talking about the animal.
We're talking about the Sky-Vue Drive-in Theatre in Lamesa and their legendary Chihuahua sandwiches.
Sky-Vue is one of a handful of drive-in theaters left in the state.
Established in 1948, the owner says it's different from all other businesses in town.
Sam Kirkland is the owner of the Sky-Vue Drive In Theatre.
"It's probably the most important business in this community," Sam says. "The people in this town, when you mention Sky Vue, it's like it's theirs. They claim it."
Not far down the road is another unique, non-profit, volunteer-run theater called Movieland.
Hundreds of people come here each week for to watch movies at lower-than-usual prices.
