A popular restaurant is reopening its doors in the very same spot it closed last year.
Harrigan's plans to re-open at Memphis Place Mall on October 21st. NewsChannel 11 spoke with owner Rice Horkey, Monday who plans to bring back the original menu.
He said they also plan to build an outdoor courtyard just west of the bar. Lubbock was home to the first Harrigan's restaurant, which then grew into a chain. The company filed for bankruptcy last year and was forced to shut the Lubbock restaurant down last year. But, if the "re-birth" concept works, Horkey and his partners hope to re-open other former Harrigan's locations as well.
