Subscribers to DISH Network could be losing KCBD Wednesday at midnight. If you are a DISH subscriber, you should know that Raycom Media, our parent company, has been trying diligently to reach an agreement with DISH for months. DISH doesn't seem to have the same sense of urgency.
This is particularly disappointing, because all the other TV providers in our area have agreements with us, and those terms are fundamentally similar to the one we are working on with DISH Network.
Just go to your favorite Internet search engine and type in "DISH Network worst company in America" and you will see just how unreasonable DISH can be.
KCBD values all of our viewers and we want you to be able to watch our award-winning newscasts, NFL football, and hit shows like The Voice and America's Got Talent.
You do have choices you can switch to: DIRECTV, cable, or of course you can receive KCBD free over the air with an antenna. If you decide to stay on DISH, you should ask them for a credit or rebate. No one should have to pay for something they are not receiving.
I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience to our DISH viewers.
