PLAINVIEW, TX (KCBD) -

The Plainview Herald is revealing new details about the bodies found in Plainview on Friday.

Family members told the paper that the bodies belong to their mother, 57-year-old Teresa Hill and her boyfriend, Robert George Olszewski, 60. Investigators confirmed the identity of the male body on Thursday.

Police found the victims late Friday morning in a mobile home across from Plainview High School in the 1300 block of Smythe Street.

They responded to the home around 11:30 a.m. for a welfare check and found the bodies of a man and a woman inside.

Sandy Ramos lives nearby. She said they'd been smelling a strange odor coming from the home for a few days.

"I figure it was a dead cat or a dead animal or something, but my landlord called police and they found two bodies inside," Ramos said.

The neighbor tells us a man and a woman in their 50s lived in the mobile home and that they usually kept to themselves, as do many in the area.

"It's pretty quiet over here. Nobody really gets in anybody's business or anything," Ramos said.

Ramos says she last saw the two a week ago and was shocked to hear the news this morning.

"I've never heard of this happening in Plainview, especially finding two dead bodies," Ramos said.

Captain Manuel Balderas Jr. with the Plainview Police Department says officials performed autopsies on a male and a female subject on Tuesday. He says they are reviewing dental records and will be able to positively identify them by the end of the week.

The Texas Rangers are also assisting in the investigation.
