LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Lubbock city council member is clearing the air about recent moves made by the council.

Councilman Jim Gerlt spoke with residents at a town hall meeting on Monday.

The agenda included a potential increase in local water bills and other changes on the city budget, but of course the hot topic of the night was LP&L.

Councilman Gerlt told the group he wants to be available to people so they can better understand what's going at city council.
