A simple arrest turned into a multi-agency chase on Thursday when Texas Rangers tried to serve a warrant for burglary of a coin-operated machine in Shallowater.
Authorities say the Rangers came to arrest 18-year-old Kyler James Bigham at his residence when he decided to run.
The Texas Rangers were joined by troopers from the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, DPS patrol units, and a DPS helicopter.
Bigham was caught by Sheriff's deputies and taken into custody in a field outside Shallowater. Authorities say he may be facing additional charges.
