Sunday will be last day to swim at municipal pools

With summer winding down, the Parks and Recreation department will be closing all City pools for the swim season on Monday, August 19. The last day the pools will be open is on Sunday, August 18, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Pools include Maxey Pool, Montelongo Pool and Simmons Pool. Clapp Pool is hosting the annual K-9 SplashFest from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on August 18.

Normal hours of operation through the remainder of the season are Tuesdays through Sundays 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Entrance fees are $2 for youth (17 and under) and $2.50 for adults.
