LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Lubbock County Sheriff's Office has named a person of interest in the disappearance of Meagan Hembree, 30. Michael Ramsey is in the Lubbock County Jail now on an unrelated charge.

Lubbock County Sheriff Kelly Rowe says Ramsey and Hembree did know each other, but how well is still unclear.

"We're still trying to follow up on a lot of different facts. There is a lot of information that leads us to believe that anything that may have occurred happened in Lubbock County. But we're gonna work closely with, not only the Hockley County Sheriff's Department, but the Texas Rangers and other agencies to see if we can bring this to a successful close," Rowe said.

"We have been able to uncover some significant evidence. He is not cooperating with investigators at this time," Rowe said.

Hembree was last seen in Lubbock County on February 26, 2013 with Ramsey, traveling in a red 2-door Saturn, wearing a light gray hoodie, pajama pants or blue jeans, and black tennis shoes.

If you have any information regarding the disappearance of Maegan Hembree or Michael Todd Ramsey please call Crime Line at 741-1000. Your call will remain anonymous.

The following is a description of Maegan:

- 30 years old

- Approximately 4'11" tall and weighing approximately 120 lbs

- Has a Houston Astros star tattoo on the back of her neck, a tattoo on her left shoulder and biohazard tattoo on her lower left leg

- Last seen wearing pajama pants and a hooded sweatshirt
