WHAT: The Bridge of Lubbock will be hosting its 5th Annual Bridge Bash which is a back-to-school clothing giveaway offered to low-income families in Lubbock and the surrounding communities. Through collaboration with VOICES of the South Plains Community Coalition, this event will provide free clothing and school supplies to hundreds of families in preparation for the upcoming 2013-2014 academic year. 100 Black Men of West Texas will be supplying refreshments. In addition, Bodyworks and Mr. Gatti's have sponsored this event to provide entertainment such as face painting and a rock climbing wall. The Bridge of Lubbock will also have small carnival games for the young and the young at heart.

The Bridge of Lubbock is a privately funded, non-profit organization looking to restore the foundation of hope in the community. The organization offers Bridge 2 Success (B2S), a free Christian mentoring program for middle school and high school students.
