BIRMINGHAM, AL (SEC) -

LSU left tackle La'El Collins has been named the SEC Offensive Lineman of Week.

Collins played 79 of 80 snaps (helmet came off) in LSU's 37-27 win over No. 20 TCU.

In his first start at left tackle, Collins helped pave the way for an LSU offense that ran 80 plays for 448 yards (197 rushing, 251 passing) against a TCU defense that returned nine starters from a unit that led the Big 12 in total defense last year.
