Two men will go to trial for a string of Lubbock grocery store bank robberies.
On September 1st of last year, the American State Bank branch inside the Albertson's at 50th and Indiana was held up. The suspect claimed to have a gun but never showed one.
There was a similar scenario a few weeks later during a robbery at the Wells Fargo branch inside the United at 50th and Avenue Q. A bank teller told police a man demanded money and claimed to have a gun.
Tuesday a Lubbock Grand Jury indicted 23-year-old Dedric Moore and 18-year-old Tommy Jones. Both are charged with two counts of robbery.
