Dozens of families were displaced earlier this week when a fire swept through the Oak Creek Apartments, in west Lubbock.
15 Frenship ISD students were among those who lost everything in the fire.
When the district learned about the situation, the Frenship community responded in a big way.
"We have reached out to those families, not only us as a district, but also some charitable organizations, as well as our Frenship families, have reached out to those students - just to help those students and their families any way we can."
Frenship spokesman Andy Penney says the students and their families received clothing, school supplies, and money to help them get back on their feet.
