BIRMINGHAM, AL (SEC) -

After an electrifying performance Saturday night against UAB, Odell Beckham Jr. has been named the SEC Special Teams Player of the Week.

Beckham Jr. racked up 331 all-purpose yards, the third-highest total in school history and tied for eighth in SEC history.

He became the first player in LSU history to return a missed field goal for a TD as he returned a 59-yard UAB attempt 109 yards (statistically 100 yards) for a touchdown in the third quarter. It tied for the longest scoring play in LSU history,

Beckham Jr. finished contest with a total of 4 TDs (3 receiving, 1 return).

He rushed one time for 15 yards, caught 5 passes for 136 yards, returned 3 punts for 59 yards, including a 60-yarder that setup a TD, returned one kickoff 21 yards and returned the missed field goal 100 yards for his 331 all-purpose yards.
