Doctors have been using a Botox off-label to improve the appearance of Crow's feet for years, but now, for the first time, the FDA has officially approved the practice.
Crow's feet are tiny wrinkles that pop up on the outer edge of eyes with age. Botox works by keeping the muscles from tightening, so wrinkles are less prominent.
The FDA says two clinical trials have both shown the same thing - that using Botox to get rid of Crow's feet is safe and effective.
