PERRYSBURG TOWNSHIP, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A bicyclist was killed in an accident near the intersection of Roachton Road and Scheider Road in Perrysburg Township Thursday.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol says 35-year-old Nathan Kerber, of Perrysburg, was driving westbound on Roachton Road just after 3:30 p.m. when a bicyclist lost control and fell in front of his vehicle. The OSHP says the bike rider, Rufino Secundino, was traveling eastbound on the westbound side of the road when he lost control.

Secundino was pronounced dead at the scene.

OSHP Lt. Jerrod Savidge says Secundino was a migrant farm worker who was temporarily living at a farm on 5 Point Road in Perrysburg.
