LIA Offers Wireless Internet to Travelers

Wireless Internet service is now available to travelers with laptops at the Lubbock International Airport.

The Internet service will be free until January 15th when the airport will re-evaluate the program. If it continues after that date, the airport will charge users a fee.

The city's aviation and information technology departments teamed up to offer the service.
