Three Die In Traffic Accident Outside Wolfforth

Two adults and one child are dead following a traffic accident 7 miles West of Wolfforth.

It happened around 8pm Thursday night, at the intersection of Farm to Market Roads 1585 and 168. The Department of Public Safety is currently investigating, along with Hockley County law enforcement. Officials at the scene of the accident say one of the vehicles was T-boned. A woman driving a Rodeo was taken to the hospital, but her 6-year-old son, who was in the passenger seat, died. Two men from Olton were in the other vehicle. The driver was 48-years-old and his passenger was 83.

DPS Troopers have not released the names of the dead or injured at this time.
