Dunkin' Donuts will set up shop in Lubbock

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
One of the world's most popular donut restaurants is coming to Lubbock. 

Dunkin' Brands announced Monday that it is developing 17 new restaurants in Texas, including four in Lubbock.

The first restaurant is expected to open in 2014, with others opening within months of each other. 

Nikunk LLC, the local franchisee, also plans to open restaurants in Amarillo, Abilene, and San Angelo.

All of the stores should be open by 2019.
