6-foot-4-inch Lubbock Titan Tess Bruffey has verbally committed to LCU.

In August, after receiving an offer from coach Whitaker to join Texas Tech, Tess narrowed her decision to Tech and LCU. Though playing at Tech had been a childhood dream for Tess, she determined that she would have more encouragement in her faith at LCU.

Tess will join her sister Claire Bruffey, who recently transferred from McMurry to play at LCU, and former teammate Hannah Harbin.

Prior to Texas Tech's offer Tess fielded offers from Washington State, Liberty, University of New Mexico, UT - Arlington, Lubbock Christian University and many more. Additionally Tess has received phone calls or 450 letters of interest from 40 plus universities with strong recruitment from Division I programs like OU, K-State, Abilene Christian University, RICE University, St Mary's San Francisco, Gonzaga, and Northwestern.
