Police say wet roads may have been a factor in a wreck that sent three people to the hospital Friday night.
Lubbock police say 22 year-old Joshua Brackens was South bound on Quaker near 60th Street just after 9:00 p.m. last night. He lost control of the Ford Mustang he was driving, overcorrected, and ran into a telephone pole.
Emergency workers used the jaws of life to free brackens from the car. Brackens, along with his passengers, Michael Roberts, and Jessica Lescelius, are both 21 years-old.
All were taken to University Medical Center. Brackens remains in critical condition. The others were treated and released.
