We have three low performers this week; health inspectors found six critical violations at each location.

We start at Texas Land and Cattle at 7202 Indiana.
* Employees were not washing their hands for at least 20 seconds.
* Employees' uncovered drinks were in the kitchen.
* Raw ground beef was stored above raw beef.
* There was no backflow prevention device on the water supply.  This protects the water from contamination.
* Inspectors observed no service sink or curbed cleaning facility with floor drain.
* Dishes were not being sanitized.
Management tells us everything has been corrected.  The report shows most violations were corrected during the inspection.

Next we head to Furr's Cafeteria at 2817 S. Loop 289.
* Several chilled items on the serving line were not 41 degrees or below.
* Multiple food items did not have a datemark.
* Dented cans were stored with good cans.
* Raw ground beef was above raw pork in the walk-in cooler.
* Toxic items were near food contact surfaces.
* Dirty utensils were stored with clean ones.
Management tells us everything was corrected during the inspection; the report shows that as well.

And finally - our last low performer: Buns Over Texas at 3402 73rd.
* Raw beef was voluntarily thrown out because it was above the safe cold temperature of 41 degrees.
* Employees were not washing their hands for at least 20 seconds.
* and then handling ready to eat food items without wearing gloves.
*Buns Over Texas does have a barehand policy with the city health department.
* Raw beef was stored above ready to eat items.
* Open drinks were in the kitchen.
* Stickers and sticker residue were on clean dishware.
Management tells us everything has been corrected. They say they try their hardest every day and appreciate the work heath inspectors do to keep everyone accountable.
