Lubbock Health Department Hosts Flu Shot Clinic Friday

The Lubbock Health Department is offering flu shots to high-risk adults.

High risk conditions include asthma, renal dysfunction and immunosuppression. Shots will also be available to adults 50 years and older.

The department will distribute the 600 flu shots this Friday, October 1st from 2 to 4pm at the immunization clinic at 1902 Texas Avenue.

There is a $10 fee and Medicare will be accepted.
